 ROCK PALACE

Rock Palace opened its doors in 95 in Calle Vara de Rey nº 6, in the district of Arganzuela.

Founded by members of punk-rock bands such as Pleasure Fuckers, Sin City Fix and Flystones, the venue became an immediate rock and punk reference in Madrid.

Taking similar businesses already existing in cities like New York or L.A. as a reference, Rock Palace was pioneer in the capital housing in the same building a concert hall and rehearsal places. In these spaces hosted through the years different influential artists and bands of the most different musical styles at national level: Los Enemigos, Toreros Muertos, Enrique Morente, Vargas Blues Band, Estrella Morente, Julián Maeso, Trogloditas, La Frontera, Tomatito, Manuel Cortina...

It´s programme of concerts is varied in genres, artists and formats, with special attention to the emergent projects.

In addition, the venue also has its own recording studio. The rehearsal hours are from 10:00 to 23:00 and the concert days, from Thursday to Sunday, the closing time of this temple of good rock music is 5:00 in the morning.
