Madrid lovers have the perfect excuse to show their love to the city with this illustration contest. Armed with their favorite techniques and materials all those illustrators, professional or amateur, who are residents of Madrid are summoned to participate.
The purpose of Madrid Me Gusta Illustration Contest is to reflect-with unpublished art works- the particular vision that each artist has about Madrid nightlife. For that reason the art works must be inspired by Madrid and Madrid´s nightlife, its topics, anecdotes, meaningful images, cliches…Anything should be a good excuse to let go your imagination while having the vibrant Madrid´s Night Life as your muse:
Anything: A night walk downtown through its terraces, a dinner at your favorite restaurant, a life show you will never forget, the music played at your favorite nightclub or an after work drink with your work mates ... illustrators have many subjects and topics to work on.
So, if you are living in Madrid, you love its nightlife, and you are a creative kind of person, this is your thing! It´s very easy to take part on the contest. You just have to send an email attaching your work before October 26 to: megusta@madridmegusta.eu for submission.
There are 3 prizes. First: 400€, Second: 200€ and Third: 100€
Prove that you know Madrid Nightlife better than anyone and show the city how much do you love it!
The works received will be shared weekly on our social networks during the campaign to show all of our followers. In addition to the cash prize, the winning work will be awarded with distribution and public communication.
Madrid Me gusta is a campaign launched by Plataforma de Asociaciones por el Ocio y el Turismo de Madrid, Asociación Turismo de Madrid y Turismo del Ayuntamiento de Madrid and Comunidad de Madrid, sponsored by Mahou y Solán de Cabras, and with the collaboration of AEHCAM (Asociación de Hostales y Albergues de Madrid).
