MIGUEL NAVIA

Miguel Navia says: “I remember being scolded at school because he spent all the class time drawing. It´s been many year since that, but things have not changed much I´m still attached to the pen as if my life depended on it”. (...)

“After droping out from illustration classes, around 2001 I started drawing storyboards and concept art for films and advertising. Gradually, I became more interested in press and publishing illustration. Certainly in this latter field I feel especially comfortable, as it has allowed me to approach classical and contemporary writers.

A common feature of my work is that in almost all of my artwork dominates the narrative and search for specific atmospheres. I would also say that urban life is a recurrent issue in my work”.
