 LOS GALAYOS

Provided with 2 entrances: Plaza Mayor, 1 and Botoneras Street, 5, Los Galayos Restaurant is a quality reference and a classic of the most refined and exquisite  Spanish cuisine in it´s main city.

Its history dates back to1894, when it opened its doors as Casa Rojo, which offered the locals, but also the visitors tasty tapas and snacks. Over time the place has evolved, adapting to the needs and demands of today's public staring at the History of Spain within its walls. For example, the 27 Generation held here their famous last meeting (Apr 29, 1936) just before the Civil War took place, to honor Luis Cernuda, the poet.

Ever since, their saloons: Duque Galayos, Avila, Bodeguilla, El Refugio and Altillo, and their two large terraces -at Botoneras Street and Plaza Mayor- make from their lunches, dinners, meetings and ceremonies, very special and endearing moments.

Each one of these spaces is set up to offer all sorts of sensations when tasting a good Castilian cuisine, where you can taste a variety of entrees and Spanish tapas with and extensive selection of Spanish Wines: Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Madrid, etc. ...

In addition, its rooms have wireless service and all kinds of audio visual, projection and screens facilities, ... Without any doubt, Los Galayos is ideal for lunch and dinner in the most classic part of town.
