 GRIFFIN'S

On May 27, 1982, Griffin's opened its doors for the first time in the historic premises of Calle Villalar, 8, as a continuation of other mythical venue that existed in that same place: La Boite de Villalar, La Galera, Stone's or Privé. With its appearance, there was a real change in the night of Madrid and, especially, the gay atmosphere of the capital, encouraging and inspiring the "Griffin's concept" which, even today, remains a benchmark.

From the beginning we tried to give a different color and warmth to the customer who came with no pretensions other than to make friends and spend a pleasant time in very good company. However, due to external causes, a new location had to be found for that mythical place, arriving at the current site of Calle Marqués de Valdeiglesias. 6.

The "Griffin's" offers a more welcoming concept, on three floors, which meets all the needs of our customers and a magnificent space for its mythical spectacles.

Today, Griffin's remains legendary within the atmosphere in Madrid and a must visit to see the real city. Its offer includes a great variety of artists and daily performances of transformism at one o'clock, as well as dance music, fun without ties.

Even today they retain customers from those early days and, although the former premises are still remembered and longed for, at the current location they still feel at home. A "house" that opens from Tuesday to Sunday until six in the morning.
