It was just thirty-one years ago that Cine Galileo became one of the temples of Madrid´s nightlife.

 

A place that has seen its egregious figures on stage, such as Rafael Farina, Eugenio or Pepe Carroll and even the musical Addy. The walls of this historic site used to host interesting photo and painting exhibitions, where new artists could be disclosed. Currently these same walls pick up the photograph of the countless artists who have passed through its stage.

 

Many details of the original decoration is still preserved from the early years while its stage catapulted to stardom many artists as Los Secretos, Antonio Vega, Javier Krahe, Pablo Carbonell, El Gran Wyoming, Kiko Veneno, Martirio, Luis Pastor, Pedro Guerra, El Cigala, Tomatito with Michel Camilo, Juan Tamariz, Faemino y Cansado and many more.

 

Music, magic, mentalism, humor, fashion shows, book presentations, poetry, cultural events and endless activities have place in this room, a corner of privileged leisure, located in Galileo Street, near its crossing with José Abascal Street.
